Does that mean entrance to park via Park Avenue - not clear on map!

Turn right at the roundabout at the end of Park Avenue entrance to the car park for the park is then on the right. Also generally plenty of parking on Park Avenue itself.

I will check out pubs and post again later.

Okay having consulted my wife who knows Bedford far better than myself; places where refreshment may be sought are

The Park - on the corner of Park Avenue and Kimbolton Road

Tiger Moth - This is on Brickhill Drive and is an easy walk through from the park.

The Pheasant - On the wentworth Drive Avon Drive roundabout

Or if you walk down De Parys Avenue from the Park this will take you down to the High Street where a Weatherspoons amongst other can be found. This Pilgrimage will also take you past the statue of JB
