According my memory banks tv was already coloured here in 1986 (only joking). What is that story about Hull, other than Mr. Timestar lives there? I remember an Album of the Housemartins "London 0- Hull 4"

London 0 - Hull 4 could have been a prediction of this seasons football results the way Hull City are playing! 1986? My dear young friend it was After They'd Finished then.

As for Hull! Well Starbie lives with his dad Timey, Paul Ganney (Gangan) is also resident and I am not sure but I think ATF have yet to play there - I am sure I will be corrected. It is a nice place to visit, up the M1, turn right at L**ds on the M62 and keep going until you reach the sea. Nice new shopping centre and a chance to escape to Holland on the ferries (if the engines don't catch fire like yesterday morning!!)

Thankyou Noel, you must be a real diplomat .

I guess I was one of the last original "friends" in 82 - membership card says 1457. Talking about 1986 I was referring to the BAP DVD.

You had Black and white telly! Luxury, we had to make do with watching clothes go round in laundrette, when it reversed we thought that was the channel changing! We were that poor we even spelt Hull with out the H to save blood from us little finger as we etched on't stone flag we used for paper. Skeggy is a foreign country anyway, that is just a comment and not a Yorkshire thing!!

We were too poor to go to the launderette. We had to beat our clothes on the rocks on the edge of the lake and then our dad would beat us to death on the rocks.

Is riding a bike a sport, or is it just a way of upsetting other road users, ie pedestrians?

Hey Pushbike! Bikes are nearly as bad as caravans on the road! If you crash into a caravan you can at least get a cup of tea while exchanging insurance details! How much insurance do pushbike riders have? not to mention cups and saucers!
