And I forgot to say, a Marquee gig was my first too... The band were a quartet, Andy still
had star jeans, and the string synth and hammond were in place. And the
smoke machine jammed on - cue Signs of Choking.

I'm fairly sure I remember the lead singer of Dogwatch climbing the
stacks during one song, possibly dressed as The Incredible Hulk and
also doing another song clad entirely in cling film. Or did I dream it?
I do also remember there being another support band but can't recall anything about them.
Mention of Writz certainly takes me back. I never got to see them live
but I am to this day the proud posessor of a copy of their Night
Nurse single, with free surgical face mask (years before Michael
Jackson thought of it). Ah, the golden age of promotional freebies.....
