What can I say, I'm slow to wake up!  I can't face listening to TerryTM spewing his "Is it me?" crap first thing (and playing endless girl group stuff like Wilson Phillips & The Corrs & Westlife), so it's Classic FM.  Depending on what's on, I might turn to Radio 2 a bit later.  2 is good at the weekend.

You old timers... Radio 1 all the way, I say.

And Torchwood was OK, but if it wasn't for the Doctor connection I'd not have bothered with episode 2. Which was much better than episode 1. Hopefully the progression continues from here.

Paul.

The thing that concerns me is that I thought it was supposed to be written for adults?  Episode 2 seemed like it was written for frisky 14 year olds...

Did everybody "get" the hand-in-the-jar reference?

My preference is for Radio 5 Live in the morning.  It is a bit like Radio 4, but for people with an IQ below 80.

There was some stuff with Captain Jack holding on to a hand in a jar like it was the most precious thing in the universe.  He also said something about it, which I can't quite remember.  Anyway, somebody at work pointed out that the Doctor lost a hand while fighting the Sycorax (and then it grew back), and that although we didn't see Jack in that episode, Torchwood were there to do the clean-up operation, and reference was made to this too.

I'll be tuning in again if only to see where the Doctor Who stuff leads...

In this instance, Torchwood.

But while we're confused about what we're talking about, another subject entirely: has anybody noticed that we need one more forum member to make it to 300??!  Mick - competition!
