Never trust a woman!
That is the moral of tonights show. You walk into the darkest castles, try to save your mates bad brother, risk life and limb, the sheriffs wrath, Gisbourns gizzards, the guards gauntlets, the chefs cakes, the itchy armour undergarments, the misplaced sword, the horses hooves, the flight of the bumble bee, ITV's X factor, the evening traffic, the lollypop ladies sign, the chance to be on the radio, Dixarn's coat, nextdoors cat, the last train to Glasgow central, uncle Tom's cobblers and all and then she says get stuffed Robin Hood!
Pretty girl though!

It looks like Torchwood is definitely placing itself in X-Files territory. I wonder if those who liked The X-files are more amenable to Torchwood. I was definitely an X-Files fan, but I must confess I am still making up my mind about Torchwood!

I am an X-Files fan and much prefer the latter Torchwood episodes. There are too many characters and storylines for such a short show. Cyberwoman was a waste of a show. Maybe a different writer would be better, someone detached from the Doctor Who project.
It is more adult but does not make you think enough. I have them worked out very early in the story.
I'm sure the Sarah Jane thing will work (this time) but not sure I will be bothered.
New Series 2 box set arrived this week complete with Cyberman face on front, just wont fit on the dvd shelfs!!
after the complete X-Files box set for Christmas (anyone???...)

I watch it
on Monday evening while on my turbo trainer (don’t ask) with my 11 year old son
and even he says it is
Not very hard
to work out with loads of holes in the plot
I.e. How did they get the cyberwoman down in the
cellar without it being found or noticed, it’s like building a
Pyramid under the stairs and my wife not finding
out!!!!!!

I quite liked the faerie episode but this week's was a waste of space.
Sarah Jane is bound to be better, but don't expect much from K-9: the BBC don't own the rights, and Disney are developing a cartoon (featuring a redesigned and sadly not as cool K-9) with the copyright holder.
Russell T Wotsizface reckons he doesn't want to bring back the Master. git.

Are we talking about the same episodes? I thought this week's Torchwood (CountryCide) was the best yet. Definitely in X-Files teritory, which may be why I liked it. Interstingly written by the same guy who wrote "Cyberwoman" and "Day 1", neither of which I rated that highly.
Sarah Jane will be a kids program, so I'll give it a miss I suspect. Although it was very nice to see her back in "School reunion".
Gave up on Robin Hood very early.
Looking forward to Life on Mars II...
Paul.
