Well, still waiting for a full review! Hope the ipod has batteries included for all those airports! We will be waiting for the sun here on our island but still full of joy, and there is a slight chance I may get to the next gig.

Peter did you record the proceedings?

What about streaming some of the audio on the media page?

You know you want too - you will make us all happy

Yeah, thanks for the picture of my bald patch, Mick!

Just wanted to add my thanks to the lads for a stonkin' performance on Saturday night.  I thought the sound was superb, the performance was a stonker, Mr Halligan was an excellent if too short addition and the setlist was better than I could ever have imagined.  To be honest, that was the best ATF gig I've been to.  (Well, joint best with Starflight at that first 2004 rehearsal, but that doen't count.)  Help!  I'll say that again: Help!  Help!  Did I mention Help?!  And to think we got TWO HOURS of liveage!  And while I could witter endlessly about the other songs which you performed, I'm not going to because I don't want to spoil it for those who are going to The Cut!

Oh, and while I'm not against stand-up gigs, it was actually really nice to sit back and just listen/watch for a change!

So cheers again chaps.  Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Just wish I hadn't mislaid my MiniDisc recorder... Not that I condone bootlegs of course - I'll get my, er, ATF Fleece...

I enjoyed the whole show, all the songs were excellent and the
sound was perfect . A special mention for the girls at the back of
the audience who did an excellent job as backing singers!

My favourite bit was the punk style version of Help! It was
mentioned that it is available somewhere on the net, but I have
not found it. Any clues? I don't suppose there is any chance of
releasing it as a single?!

And in their lovely fleeces! I couldn't find any banana cake though - was there some?

Anyway the next gig at The Cut - are there any family tickets? Also is it sitting down or standing up?

Thanks to ATF and helpers for the excellent gig. Hearing 'Help' and '1984F' alone were worth the 250+ mile round trip. I was additionally impressed at the bold number of changes to the 2004 set, which allowed you to play much more material, not heard in a while (if hardly ever in some cases!). What's more, there was a freshness to the musical delivery, which I sense you were wanting to convey to us. I previously liked Keith Smith's vox and 'take' on the songs, however your experience with the material obviously showed through that bit more. It can't be easy for Peter and John to move from instruments and backing to the 'full monty', however it was great, done with aplomb.

Peter also did really enjoyable links, which added a nice touch of humour and
nostalgia. The band's friendliness with the 'fans' at the interval is also
appreciated, although I think some of us still remain a little starstruck!

I just hope you keep going. Please don't get put off by the fact that a
venue might not be completely sold out. Attendance was good given you hadn't
performed for a while, and also it was not part of a bigger gig/event. And
the fact you still generate new material is fantastic - I love 'Forged from
Faith', with its powerful lyrics.
