Okay I've visited the online shop and had a look at the CDs, and what do I see the long awaited Signs of Change. Is this available now or is there a little wait yet?

Hi Kevin

I'm new to this site. Where is the shop you mention?

I've been looking for Signs of Change for nearly thirty years, although I didn't know it! I taped Pilgrim from Alan Freeman's Saturday show back in the 70's, but left the room for physiological reasons, thinking "I'll get the artist's name when I play it back". Sadly, the cassette ran out just as the dying notes faded, and despite several enquiries (one to Fluff himself) I've had no luck in finding out who the artist was until on a whim tonight I typed the lyrics one more time into Google. So both ATF and SOC are new names to me.

Tony

Hi Tony

Follow the 'shop' link on the main afterthefire.co.uk website.

The album on vinyl regularly comes up on ebay and judging by the fact that it usually sells and other posts on the Yahoo mail group many other want a copy.

Glad your quest is coming to a conclusion, have you listened to any of the bands later stuff?

No, I only knew the one track and only discovered the band's name yesterday.

I've just order Signs of Change from the web site, so I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of it too.

What's their later stuff like?

Go to ATF Sounds forum and you can download parts of the songs in mp3.

I've gone to the shop & tried to order the SOC CD but the "add to order" buton is greyed out & nothing happens when I click on it. The button for Der Kommissar works OK.

Anyone know why? Have they sold out? I'm really keen to get a copy!

Regards Signs of Change on the ATF Webshop we have disabled the BUY button until we have a realistic delivery date. It is actually costing a small fortune to create a pukka master for the CD duplication and also the logisitics of finalising the cover and extra tracks.... nice problems to have, just eats up the time.

For the original vinyl edition of SoC we had unbelieveable problems, nearly gave up at one stage.

We are more than happy to take advance orders, just beware you may have a long wait!

Hi Peter

I remember chatting to you at the Marquee Club shortly before one of you gigs. Happy days!

How can I place an advance order if the button is disabled?

How many copies of SOC will be be made - I mean do I have to get in quick before they sell out?

Do you know what the bonus tracks will be?

Eagerly anticipating it's release - many thanks

Hmmm, so many questions!!!

Marquee, eh, those were the days, hope to meet u again soon...!

Because of so much interest in the SoC CD we have decided to enable the button on 1st November regardless of our fear of not getting it together for ages. As far as the first run we will not have placed the duplication order by then, so we will be able to guage the response and order accordingly.

As far as the bonus tracks are concerned I know what the short list is and until we can see what sort of quality we can achieve it will remain our little secret, sorry !

Thanks for your interest, only 2 or 3 more months to wait!

PB

So can we put in a request for 'Here on my island' to be one of the bonus tracks?

Happy memories from first greenbelt appearance, and the Marquee club.

Also remember a conversation with a guy called Pete who may have done lights or sound with band in early days - claimed that Pilgrim had loads of extra sections not included on SoC album amounting to something like 20 mins plus - is this the case??

Malcolm
