A side is the mansfield production but with the extra instrumental at the end, an three live tracks on the B side.
Don't let it go for peanuts

Someone selling their ATF records? Shouldn't we suggest they do penance for this! Even if it is their 3rd spare copy there is no excuse for it!

Quite possibly my favourite piece of ATF vinyl - this is where it all started for me!
Any chance of somebody breaking into the Sony vault, grabbing the master, remastering it and offering it as a nice shiny new limited edition CD single or MP3 download?!

Yes Sony vaults must have at least two of the Rainbow gigs hidden away

Yes Dix that´s the best idea for ages!
Don't we have a "secret agent" forum member who knows that open sesame trick? But before we're making plans of action we have to discuss one thing : remaster and mp3 - that's very very contrary.

Well, yes, indeed. In an ideal world, I'd want a CD in a nice stiff card cover. But realistically it's far cheaper for them to bung out an MP3. So, frankly, I'd be happy with anything!
Right, must dash, t-minus 11 minutes and counting to Doctor Who...

you would think so. alas no.
Was given a list by Andy of all the recordings held and there was nothing so glamorous. most of the unrecognized tracks have since been identified.
The list is in there. Thinking of making an online scrapbook - what you think?

My wife keeps asking me how much I would get on e-bay for 'all those dusty old lps and orange and red singles in the loft'. Please don't anyone tell her that they may get a few squid.
I agree with you, Noel - no excuse ever for selling the old ATF stuff. However many copies you have. (I've still get Laser Love LP in cling film un-opened from when I caught it for 99p once).
Can someone tell me the story of the ladder sleeve Batteries one day?

I disagree with Noeal and Dorcan. The important thing is the music not the storage medium. The sound quality is better on MP3 or CD than vinyl, so why bother to keep the old records. It may surprise you that the colour does not make any difference to the sound!
Memorabilia is the new idolatry.
What I think is inexcusable, would be for a true fan to buy a cheap ATF CD on Amazon or ebay that was originally given away as a promotional copy. However, as the same vendors seem to keep trying to sell the same CD's, it would appear they are having a problem finding buyers. What a shame!
