Yep, I agree with everything that Paul said!!
What was the name of that group that did Pardon Me? They really hit the mark.
I just wish that they'd ended with Larry's last message to his fans, which I found very poignant , especially when I first read it.
Also, I think that if they'd included audio tributes from e.g. Kevin Max and Frank Black (Pixies) etc and had a few DVD clips from, for example, Larry's youthful, high-energy performance at Greenbelt 79, more recent concerts in Oregon, Norway and Portsmouth that would have been much more relevant than that Aussie (I think)recording in which Larry sings to camera, which I've always found rather nauseous and so untypically Larryesque!!!)
It also needed to be twice as long.........but even then there would be so many great songs that wouldn't have been able to be aired......oh, he was just such a brilliant singer-songwriter and performer, what a legend, for all his imperfections, bless him.
BTW, Mike Rimmer's LN Tribute programmes on Cross Rhythms Radio were truly excellent, for anyone who didn't catch them when they were broadcast just after Larry passed on.
Any likelihood of The Outlaw making an outing at St. Peter on the Wall, PLEASE?
Here's the link to The Outlaw at Greenbelt 08, performed by three young, handsome, tallented musicians!!!................PRETTY PLEASE?!!!
