It was something to do with chicks following the band in the 70's and going to the same gigs as Mike the pushbike. Yhey will have to go some to beat "the girls" for the number of gigs attended.

i knew them well, always trying to beat us to the front when the doors opened
they even came to see our band when we played at greenbelt ( back field way way past the car park)

Yes too right I did mean Anne and Di. They were always at the front at every London gig I went to. I'm not sure about the Germany gigs, I'm told they were there but I couldn't get across the water. Oh the joys of youth!

Those were the days, confeti cannons, you went to the gig and saw them on the front of the stage, you knew they would be fired at the end of Laser Love but when it came to it as we danced and jumped - BANG - a shock every time. Did Rob have anything to do with it?

Maybe it was a long time ago, I thought Laser Love was the first song of the encore and they were fired on the last note. It was thirty years ago and I was past my teenage years then.

Confetti cannons usually went off on the very last crash of Starflight which was the closing song of the set! We also has some other pyros and even old Memeory Banks can't really remember when they were fired!

See you guys tomorrow (or soon!)
