Mega respect Timey.....................but even that doesn't surpass being
addressed (reverentially, of course, and in hushed tone) as "Mam."

My wife (who is not really ATF) finds it a bit confusing, making sense of the odd snippets she picks up about some of my various ATF contacts. She thinks Jenny must be a little old lady who knits all day long ( a sort of Granny Drydon from Postman Pat), Zippy is the ATF promotion agency, and Banksy a graffiti artist. As for Maggie, she's totally bemused by the Larry Norman photo on FB, so assumes she must be some sort of wild man....
By and large, I suppose, she's not too far off although I did put her straight about Maggie. I told her she's not half so wild...ow! ...just joking, Mam!

Tell you what, Seagull, I promise to treat your wife to a lavender-scented,
Dalit candle, just to prove that I am really a very benevolent being and that
I'm grateful (or so I think, at present!!) that she has freed you from your
culinary duties at home, so that you can experience the current ATF line-up
in full, glorious, technicolour, lively-mode!! So be sure to leave space in
your rucksack and don't tell her beforehand!!

And NO, my benevolence doesn't extend beyond this, in case anyone else
thought that they might also become beneficiaries!!
(Just to prove that I'm "not half so wild" and demonstrate that I'm equally not
half so tame!!)
I hope that straightens things out, Seagull!! .......

I've just noticed that we're on the 40th page for this thread!!
That's a LOT OF DRIBBLE!!
Surely this should be acknowledged in some imaginative and preferably
lucrative way by those in the higher echelons of this site!!
And (just in case anyone was thinking this obvious thought!!) NO, gifts of
bibs will not do!! (Think how confused Seagull would get with a pelican bib!!)

I have never dribbled so much in all my life!
There must be some sort of Dribble Award. Will get Seagull a pelican bib from Mother'Seagull'care.
