I have recently put Laser Love 7' orange vinyl on my mother in laws jukebox.

My 3 year old keeps putting it on....now knows all the words to both sides......There is about 100 singles on the jukebox but he loves to see the Orange going round.

My point?.... it has totally re enforced my belief in gimmick vinyl and brought back loads of memories of picture discs, shaped vinyl etc......ahh halcyon days.

My favourites were the early Marillion picture discs.

Has anyone here bought a record because it was coloured, shaped, pictured regardless of the musical content?

Any classics or personal favourites.

Mark

I mentioned ATF to a 'grizzled roadie' type I was working with quite recently: he said "didn't they have the single with the zig-zag cutout in the sleeve and the orange vinyl?" Must have been effective if it stuck in his memory for thirty years!

Congratulations grizzled roadei! Its a long haul now...

I grew up wit a bright red 45 of the Peter Rabbit stories.

I never even knew CDs could be black until I got Signs of Change, but that'a irrelevant...

Where can I buy a stetson, at this time of night?

Do new roadies get to wear Rob's hat at the next ATF-gig that they can get
to?

Would theblokeattheback (a mere Newbie, on 38!!) allow 'Grizzled Roadie'
the special privilege of working the dry-ice machine at the next ATF-gig
she can get to?

You'll need to pass the four-day training course, sign the Health And Safety disclaimer, pay for the Public Liability Insurance and fill in the 48-page Risk Assessment form for every venue...it'll be a pleasure to pass it on!

(You think I'm kidding???)
