Hello to me ATF buddies !
Saturday nights ATF gig on the Banksy's Mersea Island was excellent. Unfortunately I didn't video the gig, but enjoyed the show with the rest of the audience.
Great set list :- Sometimes, High Fashion, Billy Billy, I Can Say, Time To Think, Dancing in the Shadows, One Rule, Der Kom, Life in the City, Laser Love, Wild West Show, also, Rob's 1000 Miles and Dungeon Ghyl. I think that was all the songs.
Was a good turn out. There were 2 other bands playing that night also. But to me it felt like ATF were on and off so quickly, I wanted more . Was on a high by the end of their set .
Thank you to all the peeps who came to support the charity and the bands . Was good to see Jen and John again and to see new friend Julie, who is now our new ATF car share groupie! John and j-p Holt. BIG thanks to Richard for driving, and to Tim Ball and Samuel Ball Radio Thetford DJs, who have been supporting ATF by playing their songs every day (as are the other DJs) www.radiothetford.co.uk (they are ATF gig virgins !!) Nice to see Pam and Andrea again.
Thanks to the blokes at the back, Martin, Joe, Sam and Paul .
Extra BIG love and hugs to Pete, John, Tim, Ian and Rob, who never fail to be absolutely fantastic on stage and give it their all . It did seem that Rob was itching to find something to jump off though, at the end!!
I don't think they realise how much happy they make their fans to see them still rocking after all these years, and with new members
Oh and also thanks to the venue.
Would be fantastic to get fans together for another fan gig this year, like last years Kingston gig. Missed the fans who couldnt make it this time, including my Emoticon gang ^^ and Leo.
Love and hugs to you all xxxx Zippy xxxx
PS: thanks to Rob for standing on my foot while running around in the audience singing Wild West Show!! xx
