Peter,
I have to say that in my opinion that this is the best cd that the band have released as you say it shows how together you all were and you can feel the raw energy and excitement of the moment especially 79. I am really blown away with the quality of the CD I did have my own copies of these sessions but having this has taken it to another level quality wise compared with mine.
Suspended Animation is just superb and a big fav at the moment. there will be others.....

An excellent CD and the opportunity to finally retire my original (poor quality) recordings of these concerts.
I note that Suspended Animation is included from the 1979 concert which was not broadcast at the time (unless I missed if off the track listing of my cassette).
Starflight is the track omitted from the 1980 concert.
I can't see it mentioned on the CD cover, but the original broadcast dates (according to my notes) were 19/05/1979, 20/12/1980 and 03/09/1981.
Those were the days.......
Any more live tapes lurking around out there?

Woot!! Yes, LUUUUUVE IT!! It's fabulous! Love the huge energy, it's fresh, immediate, really exhilarating! Love the way the familiar songs sound a bit different, love the reverb, reminded how good the CS80 sounded - please bring it back!!
It's brilliant how much atmosphere there is - the feeling of you all having a fantastic time! Draws us in!

Just played it for the first time and it really is a fantastic effort - well done!
Sound is tremendous and really takes you back to those great gigs in the early 80s.
One very small note, the words 'Top of the Pops' were left off the sleeve notes iro the reference to One Rule and Gary Numan and it doesn't make sense without them.
Loved the Godalming show with Rob, look forward to catching up again.

YESSSSSSS!!!! It has ARRIVED! WOOHOO!!!!
It's fantastic to now have this awesome souvenir of the best aspect of ATF - the live performances. Loads of energy. Tracks played miles quicker than the studio recordings. Plus there's the extended versions such as Take Me Higher (still one of my all time favourite songs).
Whereas it was great to have AT2F to hear what might have been, the Radio Sessions to remind us of what was at its best.
Completely and utterly delighted!!
Thanks guys!

Just received my copy this morning and took a slow drive into work playing it in the car at no 11 volume.
BRILLIANT,OUTSTANDING,EXCEPTIONAL....walked into work with the biggest smile ever....happy in the knowledge that I can finally throw away my tapes that I recorded direct from the radio....I still have fond memories of holding down the record button before pressing play.
Sound is awesome .
THANK s 4 MAKING THIS POSSIBLE.
an excited
Mark
