Was 1980 the year Cliff and Larry Norman were there and ATF not? I was there that year, my only visit! Remember seeing Daniel Amos and buying there album Horrendous Disk (green vinyl on memory) still have it somewhere, nothing to play it on!

Yay Kevin, I still have a copy of Biggles Boys Own Adventure Album (for girls) !! AND (it gets better!!) signed by Major James Bigglesworth, Ginger and Sandy!!
I remember John D from BMS Summerschools!!!
Happy Christmas ATFers!!!
Back to topic, I first heard ATF live at Greenbelt 1977.......WOW!!! (as were the fireworks which didn't get them banned that time!!)
We've still got some more ATF vids from 2007 to get up on Youtube, so hopefully, over this holiday period we'll find time to give you all some extra Christmas Cheer!!

Quite right, 1980 was time I did greenbelt Famous Names I think were top of the bill saturday Night.
Cliff was 1981, with some Irish four piece combo playing lower down the bill. The big hit of 81 though was The out of the Ghetto album which featured six bands who either played on the marquee venues or low down the mainstage bill

Wasn't the wall when they were there as Casual Tease, or was it Pink Floyd

Erm, I've got a legendary....erm...what was it, oh yes, bad memory...
Although I would have to check my programmes, I'm almost positive that Casual Tease only played once in 1981. I remember distinctly wonderering what the heck was going on.
If I'm honest...still do. Mr Farnie was a tremendous chap...pushed the boundaries and all that, but for a man raised on Staus Quo it was all a bit Tracy Emin for me.
(the hidden joke being the bed sheets).

First saw ATF - Greenbelt 1975 the generator failed on the last note of the set and it echoed on for longer as the capacitors died. Really got into the band after Greenbelt 1977 (missed GB 76) was working as a steward in front of the sound tower. The rest is history!!
A happy new year to the band and all friends
Colin
