Brill gig chaps. Before watching the North stage event, I spent an evening watching the concert from GB 2004. You guys are really getting your act together and improving as a team.
Pity about DK, but it was one of those delightful "cock-up" moments which we can remind Keith about when we're feeling a little mischievous. Although DK was never my favorite ATF track, I thought Keith did successfully put his own spin on it at GB04. The 40 minute gig seemed to fly by!
For what it's worth Matt, we appreciate your hands took some serious punishment in the Christian Aid tent, but it was a superb job you did.
I was hoping to hear an accoustic of Frozen Rivers... maybe next time ;o)
Sorry I didn't make it to Prue's on Sat evening, but after a day of working in the GB Creche, when I wasn't at ATF events, and after getting our own two to bed, I was.. well there's no polite word for it.... knackered.
I thought I recognised the fire juggler on Sunday morning (we were standing next to the GB photographer) as one of the drummers, but wasn't quite sure at the time. What a multi-talented fellow!
By the way.. my 4 year old daughter is now insisting on listening to my ancient tapes of AFT in the car..... They're stretched to the point that make my cring everytime I hear them, but she seems to be converted to the seriously warped version of the laser love album.
