Maggie, since you don't want to miss any of the bands gigs, I thought I would let you know about one I am promoting up in West Yorkshire. The gig is at the Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel which is on the outskirts of Pontefract, about 12 miles from Leeds.  It is on Tuesday 6th November, show starting at 8-00pm.  Tickets are on sale as from Saturday 1st September, either on-line at through the website, or through me at roberthare@hotmail.co.uk.  The tickets are £10-00 each (£6-00 for under 18's).  Please let me know if you would like a ticket (or more).

Having just watched the Billy, Billy clip with the tallented JR on the cello/mandolin/zither/what'sit/doohdah/thingumajig, it reminded me of last Saturday's FANTASTIC concert at the Royal Festival Hall with Brian Wilson (THE Beach Boy) and band. His lead guitarist also played mandolin (but just the normal sized one!!) to great effect, AND he also played his guitar behind his head (a la Jimi Hendrix and the singer from the legendary 70s band Out of Darkness)!! No pressure, John, but .....

Now that I've mentioned Out of Darkness, what happened to them, does anybody know? Did they only make the one LP? Those were the days..........
