Amazing - just been emailed the answer to my question within seconds of asking.......

Last week we said we would confirm what time we would be playing on Sunday, sadly that timeslot is still not definite. The reason for this is there are two 5 piece bands booked to play on the bandstand in very little physical space so one proposal is for After The Fire to play first to help make the logistics easier. The starting times are 3pm for the first band on and 4pm for the second. The latest thinking is still for us to play second.... but please don't arrive at 4pm to hear the last few bars of Starflight closing the set!!

So........

What I meant to say is when do the band think they will start their set 4pm..?

Eve in the garden or bandstand  - whatever at 3pm

It Has been said elsewhere on the forum 3pm start does that mean the beginning at or when they boys start their set - it would help me to plan my journey

We'll either be starting to play at around 3pm if we are on first or 4pm if we are on second. It will be down to how much gear we can fit into the bandstand! Because there is a strict time limit we don't want a situation arising where we have to cut the set short because the changeover takes longer than hoped.

OK so who is going to go to Bunyan's statue, St. Peter Street and kit him out in an ATF fleece in Honor of "Pilgrim"

*****ONLY JOKING*****

wouldn't it be a great opportunity for the band to have photos taken there

So, how did it go lads? Very sorry I missed it. Rather bizarrely, I did end up hearing ATF in the park! Well, sort of...

This afternoon I went for a little stroll and discovered a local church holding a summer festival in the park. At 4.30 (probably the same time as Pieter, Ivan and co were onstage elsewhere in the country?) a band came on stage and started with Andy Piercy's worship* song "Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow"!

How weird is that? I reckon Him Upstairs is having a laugh at my expense...

* pardon my French
