I've been thinking......

Judging by the passionate response by true fans to the weekend gig at Bedford and the demand for more, many bands, similar in status and style to AFT, use their fanbase to try and get them gigs.

This has worked very well for musicians such as John Young (youngjohn.co.uk, check it out) a very talented old school progressive rock keyboard musician right out of the AFT mould. He is quite desperate to get his work heard by a larger audience so he canvases his fan base for venues that he could use, such as the Stables at Wavendon, MK, an intimate venue of around 350. I'm sure many other AFT fans have a venue close to them that will accomodate around the 250/300 audience.

I would be more than willing to canvas support for After the Fire in my area (Northamptonshire)

Just a thought......

The problem is funding/promoting the gig.  We dont have the money to put up-front.

The venue would also need PA & lights.
