"Meanwhile the latest news is we are returning to the studio this coming week and hope to have a mini CD out ready in time for the summer festivals this year. As always, you hear it here first!"

Summer Festivals???? The only one that I know there's a possibility of is that one in Mersea.......are there others in the pipeline?

Hi all

Here are a list of proposed festivals ATF2 are applying to play this summer.

You can help!! - by contacting the festivals and requesting the band play.  I know it's a shameless plug but the more requests the better.

http://www.h3festival.co.uk/contacts.htm    1-3 July - H3 Festival, Milton Keynes

http://www.lifeandsoul.net/events/grassrootz/v4/layout.asp  9th July – Grassrootz, Tunbridge, Kent

http://www.giginthepark.co.uk/contact.html Early August - Gig in the Park, Halesworth, Suffolk

http://www.beautifuldays.org/contact.htm - 20 - 21 Aug – Beautiful Days Festival, Devon

http://www.greenbelt.org.uk/aboutus/contact 26 - 29th Aug – Greenbelt

I see you're planning a second event Up North.  Well, Suffolk!

Should we perhaps "stagger" our shameless plugs so it doesn't look too obvious??

Why not be obvious! Why should the south have all the good music! Am I sounding like Larry Norman now!

Maybe the band could re-locate to the north and enjoy what we know about up here. The mysteies of the north, the open spaces, the fresh air, the cheaper housing, Goeffrey Boycott, Huddersfield Town, Richard Whitley, ee bye gum!!

You obviously don't go on the M62 between Leeds and Manchester on a morning! It is the outer leeds and Manchester car park! but still nice!

Just stumbled across this website/forum during a nostalgic trawl of the internet.

Fond memories of a distant youth came flooding back!  Not sure of the exact dates, but I clearly remember attending several terrific ATF gigs around 1978-80. Those at Farnborough Tech College & Guildford University stand out particularly. Does anybody else recall these gigs??

Interested to see ATF2 applying to play summer festivals this year, but on a personal/selfish note, what about my local festival Guilfest In July?? Alternatively, having missed out on the Cranleigh gig, what are the chances of another indoor one in the Guildford area this year?? (eg; a packed Farnham Maltings with local band Cryin' Out Loud as support would be a cracker!)
