Back to the subject of this forum...
For me, simply having much of the old stuff that I valued as a teen and
twenties on CD, so I can actually listen to it all again (ad
infinitum!). Well, actually, I ripped all the CDs onto my Mac, downloaded Forged and listen to the MP3s.
Would just love to get my hands on CD or MP3 versions of the gaps,
though -- e.g. the odd CBS stuff not released on the CD, the demo
tracks (especially A Little Sun, A Little Rain).

Out of the blue, I was given Iva/Ivor's 'Duel' & 'Secret Service' LPs today! (And Moral Support too, if you remember them.) So, along with the Waiting For The Sun CD, Iva really good collection - boom boom!
I'll get my coat...

I remember Moral Support, they played in Huddersfield Polytechnic and the P.A. burned out big style. Still got their single somewhere. The Bass player had a Gordon Smith 'Batman' bass. I saw him shortly after working the P.A. for a big gig somewhere else, maybe for Graham Kendrick and Clive Calver in Sheffield!

I have the Moral Support Album and Single, although the music seems to sound more dated than that of other groups from the same era.
Saw Moral Support at Greenbelt but also saw them at Spring Harvest before then where I also saw the Greenbelt 79 film which had some pretty decent live performances, and one band even let some fireworks off

My favourite version of 'Dear Lord' is by Paul Poulton. (See his website or Christian Bands for a listen). Start is soft and accoustic, then full grunge and Larry Normanesk vocals followed by a gentle version of the hymn. Wonderful.
