No don't tell me any more! I recorded it, and won't get to see it until at least tomorrow, along with the next episode of 24 - great stuff!

What??!  You mean the world doesn't stop for you at 7pm on a Saturday?  Don't you insist that your offspring return to the family nest and gather at your feet along with your dog (blind), cat, goldfish and wife as you smoke your pipe and watch the latest episode?!

I don't be-lieeeeeeve it.....

Good lad.

Another family episode next week (sigh), and then we're into the final two parter, which apparently features....no, I'll keep my mouth shut!

I must find that series guide - I'm sure I got it somewhere!

Now why no comments about 24??? Surely someone out there must have impeccable taste as well!

It's a requirement that everyone who works on our team has to watch 24!!!!

Really? Watched the first 5 episodes and gave up because I couldn't get into it.  Ivor the Engine, on the other hand...

First 5 episodes of which series though? You have to start with the first series.

Yep, it was the first series.  I think the huge amount of publicity it was given worked against it for me - I never like that, even (dare I say it) with Doctor Who.  These things rarely match up to the hype - it was full of characters which I couldn't sympathise with (serious looking Americans taking themselves very, er, seriously) and when all these things kept happening, they kept looking serious, and I just found it a bit too contrived...and serious.  And the 24 hour thing never worked because they were 45 minute episodes which, in their original format (with adverts) took place over an hour!  And nobody went for an early morning poo - with all that coffee and doughnuts there should have been at least 15 minutes in, say, the second episode, when there was not a soul to be seen, because by then their brekkie should have gone down and they all would have had to nip out to bomb the fishes!

Bagpuss is cool too - in fact anything by Postgate & Firmin gets my vote.  Looking forward to Noggin the Nog coming out on DVD at the end of June!

Anyway, bags to pack, fishes to bomb - heading south to Stafford!
