Well, assuming it's very similar, here's a VERY BASIC guide...
1) Firstly stream the radio station (by following the link provided in this thread) so you can hear it on your PC. I presume you'll have done this before and/or your PC will start playing the station for you...
2) Open the Audio Cleaning Labs software. On mine there are three tabs down the left hand side which are Import, Cleaning & Export. You want Import. This brings up a big fat "Record Audio" button. Clicking on that brings up a bunch of controls - record, stop, pause, etc. There's also a "level control" option. Click on that. On mine you tick the "stereo mixer" box and then set the level so it's not going off the scale. (If it IS going off the scale and reducing the level to minimum doesn't work, you'll need to adjust the volume of the radio broadcast.)
3) Assuming the above has worked, it's a case of pressing record and then stop. Immediately after pressing stop, save your work or you'll regret it...you now have a big fat juicy uncompressed recording of the broadcast on your PC (also known as a wav file!).
4) At this point you can trim the file, edit it, change the sound, volume, etc., but it'd take forever to explain that. Let's cut to the chase - you want an MP3 or to stick it on a CD right?! Go to the Export tab on the left hand side of the screen. You then get a choice of burning a CD or creating an MP3, and it all should be fairly explanatory...
Final piece of advice - don't wait until the ATF broadcast to do this for the first time! Get some practice in first - follow the link now and record something - Englebert Humperdink, Yazoo, whatever it is they're playing at the mo - so you know what you're doing on the night!!
Hope that helps. Peter
