OK guys and gals. This might be a fun experiment! As we're in a writing phase at the moment, and it's BBC's Reading (as in books) festival coming up. I've been knocking some lyrics around and have a chorus that I can't do anything with. I wondered whether we could put some verses to it. I'll give you the syntax and perhaps we could chuck in some ideas?. You know the drill; no direct religious references, be a bit more clever than that. Otherwise, the floor's yours..

Chorus:

And I'm calling out to you, when I'm  - 1 by 1

And your voice is coming through  - 2 by 2

You're listening to me  - 3 by 3

I just try a little more - 4 by 4

And you're making me feel fine  - 5 by 5

Verse syntax:

And when I feel so reassured

And there's a chance that I can win

Sorry. I should make it clear

The Chorus should remain as is. It's based on CB call signal strength (1x1 being low, 5x5 being clear as a bell.)

It's the verses I need help with. And I should warn you...Noel has set the bar VERRRY high!
