Hey, guys.

Something I think would be really great is if we could have the "stories behind the songs" -- where there are stories of course!

We surely all know the raison d'etre for the original "One Rule", and the new version. I heard someone explain "Check it Out!" as being about the rapture and it seems to fit, but surely there are more...?

We know there are financial constraints to releasing music, but information is now cheap... come on, lads!

If I remember this was a question that came up at the first friends reuninon. I think Johns reply covered Billy Billy and it possibly being about another rock star that was around at the time.

If my very vague memory serves correctly I heard Andy introduce Joanne as being written about someone the band had helped.

There are of course a couple of songs that Andy isn't credited on though so,

John what inspired Every Mothers Son?

and

Pete what inspired Stuck in Paris or did Pete King write the lyrics.
