Went to Music Store, in Colgne today. Found a Minimoog, but couldn't get so many interesting sounds out of it as I'd hoped. It looked rather like an old fashioned telephone exchange (which I incidently did used to operate.) They didn't have a Multimoog, but there was a Memotron (I think), which takes sound cards!

I also found a Yamaha Tyros 4, but couldn't get much out of that either. So, all due respect, Mr Banks!! It's obviously harder than it looks!

Mr Smith , you can't blind me with science! I looked up "envelope tweaks" in the internet.I never realised that life could be so exciting! If any of you folk are really having trouble getting to sleep at night, try this, or any other of the related videos...

Needless to say, the Moog was much more entertaining - even just to look at.

A sort of low thumping. Not quite "Joy"

Radio 4 was talking about 80's rock music. Apparently it's now become fashionable to like music from that era. Kept on going on about "Spinal Tap", and didn't even mention ATF. Well, it's not quite the same thing, is it?

I remember in the 80's when people said that 60's music was
a leap forward and 70's music was a backward step. In the
90's they then said that 80's music was passe but 70's
music was great.

The rule is that music 10 years old is rubbish, but music
20 years old is great.
