Thanks for haushold tip from the ATF Black Forest Brigade. I assume with the temperature drop the lederhosen are packed away? Hang onto the trilby though.

Not ALL Germans live in the Schwarzwald Rod! We are spitting distance from Cologne (and often do!) This English seagull never got into all  that leather.... nor those little handbags that men carry aound with them    ^^^^

When pocket money accumulates significantly I will look to investigate Mr H's latest silver coaster. The sun's rays? I predict chilly times.

The Essex Pony Express were very prompt. I am now mulling a spot for this volume in the bookcase. It might be between the Narnia series and a Keith Moon biography, or the story of Trafalgar. Anyway I've warned Mr Banks & Mr Evens if there is any jostling, sniggering or whatever in there, they can easily be re-located.

My concentration skills at the moment can only manage an episode of Only Fools and Horses, when it improves I intend to tackle what lies between the covers.
