So, Queen have a new lead singer for their tour. Presumably they didn't seek out another great band with a new lead singer (and drummer) to do support.

Thank goodness. Even ATF couldn't make me endure Queen.

The spooky thing is, that I was only listening to Bad Company the other night. I dusted off a CD that has been lying dormant for monthsandmonths without even knowing that Paul Rogers was to be propelled into the spotlight as Queen's new singer.

I must say, he's got a great voice and probably will go far....

I was buying Bad Company Anthology when I found the ATF CD was released - I'm amazed to find ATF much less dated than another bunch of heroes of old. And, has a much more interesting fan base !!

I'll be interested to see if Mr Rogers belly has reduced in circumference since his last sighting in the limelight...  I bet he couldn't pogo through a 40 song set !

I was ashamed of Mick Ralphs when he left the
greatest rock n roll band in the world (Mott The
Hoople - no ATF then!) to join Bad Co who I thought
were awful AOR plodders. Actually not too chuffed
with the two Free lads for doing the same. Some
great vocals on Free's Heartbreaker album. Ironically
MtH were partly responsible for breaking Queen as
mentioned in 'Now I'm Here'. Never liked them much,
though.
