Hi all
New to this site, just re-discovered ATF after many years by getting the three albums in one CD - outstanding! Just thought we'd get this discussion going by deciding who's the saddest and why. To kick it off, myself and my telented keyboard player mate once performed the whole 'Signs of Change' in a concert at our local church! Top that guys!!

It really is me then - I'm the saddest!! (Thankfully after many years of therapy, I'm now ready to rejoin society!)
PS Not really Algerian - pressed the wrong button!!

Or it could be the 251st person to order the double Cd and missed out on the bonus (not me thankfully)

That would be a good definition of AGONY!!
I have brought a lot of my A.T.F. "stuff" over to N.Z. but I don't really consider that sad!! It was/is MUCH too important to have been left behind??!!
My wonderful wife isn't so sure though!!
Can't wait until 29th May!!!

How about dressing up as Andy for gigs? Spent hours getting the outfit together complete with blue boots, blue and silver tie, round sun glasses and a black raincoat - but I was a lovesick teenager at the time and did get a song dedicated to me and my mate at one of the Worthing gigs "This one is for the two girls at the back who look like me ..." so it was worth it! If you would like to see how sad see Friends newsletter No. 12!!

Hi there, I'm new here. I would like to lay claim to being a pretty sad fan. I've a collection of several (if not all) of the 12" singles and albums stashed in the loft. Many years ago I recorded all the singles content onto cassette tape (remember them?), and it's been resident in my car ever since (The car is the only place with a casette player I think, I've also been through many cars in that time) That tape has been played, and played and played, especially Billy Billy, which still brings me to tears for some reason?! As you can imagine it's a little worse for wear.
I'm actually dumbfounded to have found the web site, having searched for ATF material on and off for a while. I placed my order for the CBS recordings and Der Kommissar as soon as I found the site.

Having just found the site after buying the CBS & SOC from Amazon I have been carried away with a burst of mid life crisis to recreate my teanage years. I organised a school ATF fan club... How sad is that ! I own every recording I could ever find released (which is far from them all!) but was banned from playing by my beloved as the record deck makes the CD player look untidy , plus Laser Love was worn thru by the needle making sound quality a bit of an issue. But, now we have a CD - all my wife's nightmares have come true !
The other sad thing is that after ringing up a bunch of guys I haven't seen for 20 years about an ATF gig -I have to sadly tell them it's cancelled - shades of Derby all over again...
