Nice to see a current,up to date photo of the band promoting this gig!!.....Interesting venue as when I asked my missus if she wanted to go to this one bearing in mind it's her old stomping ground where she grew up(short cab ride and stay at her mums!) she confessed that she would rather not as it is the same place she was due to have her wedding reception 26 years ago to her childhood sweetheart...it was broken off and that guys loss has turned out to be my gain.Really looking foreward to yet another atf gig,even if the marketing photo is a bit of a trading mis description!!

Anyone know if there is a band connection to the football club or just a plain and simple booking/promotion.....just interested.

Hope your missus doesn't mind having her history shared with the likes of us!! If she's happy enough with you, I'd have thought it wouldn't matter... but I should know by now that women have a different way of thinking!  ;-) 

 I take it you're going to go anyway and celebrate the reception that never happened...?

Ticket vouchers duly bought x 2 so she will have to come with me now........sure she will be totally uplifted by the performance and glad that she ultimately ended up with yours truly.

Only 20 mins from Gatwick,Seagull old chum,.....checked out flights for you and worked out that you you can leave yours after lunch and comfortably be at venue for kick off........after you can catch the 00:27 and be home again for about 2;45.......flight costs £59.80 return,cab to and from Gatwick £35 return and £12 ticket.............ATF live for almost £100.00 BARGAIN...

Well, believe it or not, having primed my wife with a good meal and a bottle of good German beer, she actually has agreed to let me go! So, provisionally, at least, if anyone here has any ticket influence, ask them to keep one by!

Since you started all this, Mark, do  you by any chance live nearby? I wouldn't actually fly back in the early hours (not needing the excuse of a shopping trip), so I'd be looking to overnight somewhere. Or is there a Travel Lodge in the vicinity

Anyway, I'll have to do a bit of research from this end,,,    But maybe it'll happen after all!
