Hello all,

Sorry to be completely thick but how does twitter work and how does it differ from e mail or other things like websites?

I've heard alot about it but,like most technological communication advances,everyone just expects you to know what it is and how it works without actually telling you.

Just a potted version please with no re directions to pages of instructions for twitter links.

Wonder if Jesus Christ,our Lord would have used twitter if it were around during his time on this earth?

Hi Dominion, no, you are not completely thick because I don't know either ! Only just got my head around Facebook !

Or maybe, its true, and we are both thick !!

No mention of Twitter in church this morn! Don't think Jesus Christ would have used it. All this electronic stuff is modern and great (unless there is a power cut!), but, it means you never get to speak to anyone face to face. The art of conversation is dead !!!!

Although it is good for passing on info quickly, but then that also applies to gossip !!!

Have finally worked it out and am now officially an ATFtwit.

Although had to go through loads of user names before it would accept my final choice.

I just followed the instructions, had a bit of trouble but evenually managed to become an ATFtwit !

I am now officially a twit and a follower of ATF.

I can't believe someone poached the name onlinegenie! As an Evertonian I tried marktheblue as my next choice, but someone had taken that one as well. I've been really imaginative and used my real name. Maybe I should now start tweeting - but what would I say?
