Great show, thanks to the band and all the helpers.(It merited a much bigger audience). My daughter really enjoyed herself and her drawing signed by the band has pride of place in her room.I will scan/forward it if any of the band are interested but not quite sure where to send?Have been fortunate enough to see the band twice this year, (previously at Martlessham) - so thanks for that and I hope you continue to perform.Best regards Andy

Brrriiiiiilllllliiiant gig.

The present line-up is very strong and Rob can do no wrong!! (except.....I
don't think that he should ditch his specs!! And he must get the right
emphasis for the "We are After the FiYA '!!!) His own songs were a really
positive addition to the evening and he, naturally, sings them with even
greater confidence and passion.

I know there were at least two new converts to ATF/Halligan music and
that two more were reaquainted with ATF's musical talent. These peeps
also enjoyed their fun, humour and humility,

I think that The Cut is a great venue although they deserved a much
greater audience, of course, but unfortunately there were two BIG
Christmas events in nearby large towns, which may have had an effect on
the turn out. But, it certainly didn't affect their 100% performance,

The set-list was great and I think their performance of Joy was the best
that I've ever heard. We must somehow ensure that there will be
performances in 2010 and beyond........

I thoroughly enjoyed the gig at Halesworth. The sound was brilliant. Quite agree it deserved a much bigger attendance, but this didn't seem to deter the band. Thanks for the memory!

Have only seen ATF twice before - live at one of the first Greenbelt Festivals at Charsfield in Suffolk (was that 1979?) and a year or two latter in Framlingham. Have got most of the albums and now have the more recent Greenbelt Live one. I really like "Frozen Rivers", which I had never heard before last Friday evening.

Hi Chrissy G,  Just reading your post again brought back a few memories.  Sitting on the top of a Pillbox in a Wickham Market playing field wondering what that row was coming from the next village.   Must have been earlier than '79 (74 i think) though as my standard form of transport back then was a Skateboard...

Suffolk was 74. Not that I was there, of course!
