Hey Guys
Sorry for the delay in adding my words into the mix - had a pretty hectic few days since the gig - it's the silly, oops, busy season for us clergy types I'm afraid.
Can't really add anything to what has already been posted. It was a fantastic gig, best I've heard the boys with great rapport to boot. Sound was excellent (well done blokesattheback) and rickster64's photo's really do give a wonderful overview of the night. Really enjoyed Emmanuel being 'rocked up' and thought it came into it's own as a venue for this type of gig. lufcman80f, just FYI, the band played in our worship area, not on a stage!
Really enjopyed Signs of Change - had goosebumps all over as I reminisced about the one and only time I heard those songs live all those many moons ago. Someone must volunteer themselves as singer/guitarist so that SofC can hit the road as a fully fledged tribute band.
Great to see old faces and be introduced to some new at Billericay. Thanks everyone for supporting the gig and for your support of Just Care. Money is still coming in, but we managed to raise around £700 (thanks to the generosity of the band), which will make a great difference to kids in Uganda. I'm leading a team in August 2010 and so "I need some time to think" about how we might put this money towards a project or something like that. Would be good for ATF to be known in the 'Pearl of Africa'. Fancy coming over for a few gigs guys?
Agree with Maggie about Greenbelt. I'm sure ATF could still get the crowds rocking mainstage. There can't be many bands, even with today's gizzmo's, who can get a sound out of an iron as old Banksy does.
Hey Zippy, any chance of a copy of that DVD?
Well ATF fans, that's about all for now - need my beauty sleep.
Be blessed
Paul
