I,like everyone else want there to be another tour.

Most who went last tour and the more recent one have acknowledged that the band are just getting better and better. And then there are the added benefits of Rob and SOC.

I am just interested to know, bearing in mind what has been posted before regarding the costs against income for touring, wether this tour has been more sucessful than the previous.

I do not want to pry into the band finances but just would love to know that,as a result of the recent tour another one may be scheduled.......I just remember PB s comment about "playing for nothing" and I really hope that this tour was more successful than the previous one.

I don't know much about the financial issue. Its a fair question, but I reckon the lads have just got their feet up for a nice cup of tea, and might not be ready to contemplate the for letter "T" word straight away!

P.S. Are there any clips of SOC on Youtube or anywhere else? They sound interesting...

Happy Christmas (almost),

Seagull

Great to hear that again! Thanks.

I'm still waiting for my Signs of Change CD, but what with it being Christmas, I'm not holding my breath... However, I did get the 'Praise God' CD (Andy Piercy & Dave Clifton) -and we get to open our presents on Christmas eve in Germany!

I suppose that as long as SOC tour with ATF, they can borrow the odd band member, but it would clearly be good to stand on their own feet. Hope something works out.

In the light of the ATF Christmas letter, I was clearly mistaken in thinking the band needed a mental break, as they are indeed already contemplating the next two tours. Seems like a case of Isaiah 40, 31: "...those who trust in the Lord...will find their strength renewed...They will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not grow weak."

But enjoy the break, all the same!

P.S. I'm still waiting for my "Signs of Change" CD... (the cheques been cashed!)

Its probably stuck in a snow drift.Unhappy

In a mean time, I'm learning how to play "Joy" on the Blues Harp harmonica. (There are some tricky bits!)LOL

This doesn't have much to do with the next tour. Do I get buzzed for deviation?

Hope you're all safe in the snow

Love, Seagull

Oh no! Will look into it for you... I recall it was posted
out just after Christmas so should not have got lost in
either the post or the snow.

Well, you might find its more like "Anguish" than "Joy"!

Still patiently waiting for the postman & S.O.C., but in the light of recent events, its a small matter - and good things are worth the wait!

Its small..and black...and round. It has a hole in the middle, and a picture of an old racing car on it. It looks like an LP record that someone's accidently put on a hot wash, and it came half way around the world from a giant warehouse on Mersea Island... And its HERE! The long awaited Signs of Change CD has arrived!! Thankyou!

Actually this was the second copy to be dispatched. Somewhere out there, caught possibly for eternity in the ever changing tides of Time and Chance (or the Blackwater estuary) is another copy of Signs of Change, waiting to be released upon ears that will hear... and understand. Should it pass by your way, bless it on its journey, and if it comes to you of its own free will...keep it and send a cheque to Firs Chase!

Now, I've got some listening to do.Big smile

Love, Seagull
