Hey Richard, I think this is the poster they used for the film ' Chicken Run', when they thought the rooster could fly but was really being shot out of a cannon !!

So now we know........ Rob's entertaining career started in Chicken Run as Rocky the rooster !

Where did he land, Zippy??

Sounds like you all had a jolly time - and that the band found at least one new follower. I look forward to viewing some moving clips of the action when the reel to reel has been disentangled.

(Trust Rob didn't need to use the rifle on the Bobster)

Love , Seagull

So... did you go ?  Did you enjoy it ?

It was a fantastic couple of days and all in aid of charity. And missing them already!

Friday nights venue on Mersea island was great, as the band were surrounded by mirrors, which gave a great view of them all. I wanted to see more of them, and there you go !!

It was a very rocky (the rooster Rob) set list and Rob kept extra busy by running around in the audience. He had to loan a very glittsy gold top hat from someone as he forgot his hat for Wild West Show. He said that it was the first gig he had done over seas this year !!!

As usual ATF gave a 100% in their performance and I enjoyed every minute of it. From what I saw the people around me enjoyed it too.

Saturday night was the Burgess Hill show and the venue was massive. Felt like an aircraft hanger !

The atmosphere was really good, the fans joined in with Rob singing and was a thoroughly enjoyable show. I was standing on a table throughout the show with my camcorder and have watched it today, fantastic memory of last night. The sound and lighting were excellent and the entertainment factor is never ending at an ATF show.

After the show we had some new fans who came and bought CD's, which is excellent. Welcome to Gabes, a new ATF friend, I sold you the CD that you had signed by the band. Hope to see you at another show some time.

Was nice to see Jenny & John, the Sharpies, again, we never get a chance to chat. Maybe next time! Nice to see Julie Hall again. Bryony Dickins, nice to meet you. Chris, Rob's mum, nice to meet you also.

Thanks to the promotors for setting it all up, to Richard (as usual, fantastic pics Mr Dickins) for driving me to Mersea and trying to beat the tide to get home ! To Banksy for making me a cuppa, to Mrs Banksy for some fantastic tasting mushroom risotto, to the Blokes at the back, JP, Martin, Paul, Sam, to everyone who attended for a good cause to raise money. It has been freezing over the last couple of nights, but still you came.

Special thanks and hugs to Pete, Tim, John, Ian & Rob for giving their time to entertain us to raise money for Haiti.

This Zippy signing off and still loving every minute of ATF, well done again guys.

An excellent write-up Zippy, and right on the mark.  I 2nd the thanks for Mrs Banksy's hospitality on Friday, and (manly) hugs to the band for a superb performance.

They probably think I'm a total nutter as I'm standing by the side grinning my head off most of the time!  Still, Ian & Tim always smile back, so I think we are all enjoying it immensely.

I'd like doubly thank the band & crew for travelling to and from the Gigs, all of had to travel a fair way on one day or the other, so *thankyou* again for a superb early 2010 treat of ATF :-)

Hi Seagull, Rob made fans stand right at the front of the stage so that he could land on them.

Not really !! Rob is like a cat, always lands on his feet !

I don't know how to put my recordings on here for you to see, will have to ask someone how to do it. But if I can, I will, as I know you are missing them!

The Boobster made it to Mersea and Burgess Hill, but don't know if it made to back home to Coventry, as far as I know it is still alive !!!

Hugs Zippy

OK. That made me laugh hysterically. You know what I meant. It was a typo. I mean't BOBSTER. I hope Rob has not been driving around in Polly's Boobster !!
