Just some questions that need answering if you don't mind.

1.Where will you watch the match on Sunday afternoon.

2.Will your German mates/collegues rib you relentlessly if they beat us(as we would them)

3.Are the German Germans confident they will beat us?

and lastly, not related to World cup .....do you...

a.Think in German or English.?

b.Dream in German or English.?

At a "public viewing" (yes!) at our church fete!

I doubt it, 'cause I'm making it known that I'm not too keen on the English team!

3.Are the German Germans confident they will beat us?

I think they think their team need to pull their socks up aswell, but I don't partilarly discuss football with anyone (no need to flaunt my ignorance!)

a.Think in German or English.?

Both ....I think!!

b.Dream in German or English.?

"Ich hatte einen Traum von einem Segelboot.."

You're welcome!

Using that quote box so expertly, I mean!! (as well as the non-English
lingo... about a sailing ship?)

I've given up trying!! Too much to delete!!

Brilliant......thanks for those answers.

Sounds like a safe environment to watch the game.....don't be too coy as to accept their heartfelt congratulations when we beat them.

Should the ridiculous situation arise and England not win then feel free to say you consider yourself a German now and wallow in the celebrations.

I was in Germany for the last world cup and went to see Germany play Sweden in Munich......it was great to see a proud national identity really emerge again which I hadn't seen from German supporters before.

Football, wether you love it or hate it or are just indifferent about it there is no denying that it can be a powerful tool to bring people and indeed nations together.

Love and peace to all(except Germans for between 3pm and 4.45 tommorow)
