Hi,
Yes, ATF played Laser Love on Whistle Test, and they played it with an extended keyboard introduction which I never heard anywhere else. Best version I ever heard.
I've got it on cassette tape (microphone-in-front-of-TV-speaker job), but I can't get a better version anywhere, it seems.
Thought you might be interested. I'll see if I can get it converted to MP3. If anyone thinks they can improve the sound (I'm no expert), please get in touch. Would MP3 be best, or WAV?
Or will it be appearing on You Tube soon?!?!

Sounds interesting. Wonder if the extended introduction was intentional? (Thinking of Smoke on the Water on "Made in Japan" ;-)
Wouldn't say no to a preview, even though it'll appear on Youtube in the fullness of time (no pressure, Sharpies :-) )

Me too would like to hear that wonder if Banksy remembers playing an extended intro(probably to fill the time slot allocated).....I would have loved to have played live on the whistle test,or the tube for that matter.......but really the whistle test is still an indication of how great an act was/is....there was never any dodgy acts......not like later with Jools the architect who has a fair ammount of rubbish acts on just to keep the bbc happy. Actually I'm going to write to Jools and tell him to have ATF on later with as that would mean 1 more great act appearing and 1 less rubbish one.
