Hi John.

Thanks for that.

I was asking Marionette because I'd already enquired about ATF and been told you weren't available (though it wasn't a member of the band who sent me the email saying that). If you're available that would be great - and again, you're not dependent on ticket sales because I'd be paying the group. And I'd be happy for you to set up a merchandise stall.

Apologies for the delay in replying - I've been on holiday too, and for the last few days the wifi connection in hotels has been at best dodgy.

'Signs Of Change' is my favourite ATF album and I was at first quite shocked by the rapid move towards new wave with 'Laser Love' at the time. I used to support and go and see ATF a lot in the old days around 1977 and 1978. For me the exitement faded when they changed style, although some better eliments remined on songs like '80f' and Suspended Animation'.

So if I say "white lab coat" you'll recognise the reference then, Kimberley?

Hi everybody.

Sorry to say the event is off (not my birthday - I still turn 50 in November!). I sent an email to friends and family asking how many people could give me a definite yes and was very disappointed with the reply.

All is not lost: I've bought tickets for Leeds and even managed to swell the crowd a little! Last year my wife and I saw the group. This time I've force fed my son ATF music till he said he'd come too, and one of my old school friends (one of the few to give me a definite yes) is meeting us there.
