Well, here we go again!!!! Tomorrow's the first night of the 2008 ATF outing and the nerves are quietly starting to mount!

The rehearsals are over and the crew is starting to assemble. Feels like only yesterday we were setting out for the last mini-tour. Hard to believe that was a year ago. Where does time go???

So what can you expect?

Well this year we're doing two full sets and the talented Mr Rob Halligan's singing with us in both, which means The Lads are back filling out the backing vocals as only they can. The songs have been rocked back up and Tim and I are itching to fire out some of those classic ATF riffs at you. Can't tell you how big the sound feels. Or how excited we are!!!

See ya there!

Good stuff Ian, we expect the rhythm section to lead the rock beat so its up to you on the bass and the man who hangs around with musicians (the drummer) [yes Matty agreed with the joke] to lead the Rock. I think you can! Are you ready for Surrey/South London? See you at the gigs.

I'm not feeling the lurve here Folks

You can rest assured that us 'youngsters' in the backline will keep everyone on their toes, whilst the Under 40's section at the front will make us look good as well.

Ahh fans can be so fickle.
Anyone seen them yet.
What's the verdict?
Do I go to one of the shows with a straw and dugarees?
or do I wear me old leather jacket and my head banging gear?

Love that old ATF Rock N Roll

Rob, you can go in your old leathers (throw your straw and dungarees away) they rocked the house (the PA could be a bit louder - my ears are not ringing like they used to in the old days). The first set lasted 45mins and John played his black axe all the time, no accoustic six strings were used at all. Tim hit his skins with his sticks hard and really kept the energy up. The second set started a little quieter with just Rob H on accoutic (he played a Fender axe all the time in the first set) accompnied by drummer boy Matty on one drum but they soon moved up a gear and rocked to the finish! Maty just played for the one song and as he goes into the studio next week will not be attending any more shows, so it was a one off.
