I don't drive. (they wouldn't let me anywhere near a steering wheel with my eyesight!) I've looked at public transport from London into the wilds of Essex and basically, it's prohibitively expensive and takes ridiculous lengths of time. If anyone from East London is taking a car with two spare seats in it, we'd willing contribute to petrol costs?

Apart from the Pawleyne Arms, the Market Tavern, the Maple Tree, the Golden Lion, the Goldsmith Arms, Bridge House Tavern, Queen Adelaide Arms, The Alexandra, Graces, Hollywood East, Kent House Tavern, Royal Oak, the Mitre and the Thicket Tavern I can only think of a couple of pubs within walking distance of HTB.

Don't do walking distance, crawling distance is my forte and I have the scars to prove it!
Going to Barry Manilow on Sunday, I wonder if he'll have buns......

....And they sound like real pubs too!! I bet at least some of them serve real beer!
We suffer from a real lack of real pubs AND real beer in East London.....
