I have to agree: Great Show.

TWO were excellent - I thought their voices blended beautifully.

Request: don't leave it another 25 years to return to Yorkshire!

Was I alone in sensing a certain friction between the members of TWO?

Never mind Yorkshire - it was 12.30 when I got home and I had work in the morning! Next time, come to Merseyside!

Friction....Nope! one half had very recently had a baby and was performing backstage duties (along with hubby) for much of the time when not performing.

I really enjoyed the informality of the Pontefract Gig. It was good to be able to have a brief chat with Pete during the interval and the music brought back memories of numerous ATF gigs 25+ years ago.

Two differences between then and now:

1. The sound was nowhere near as loud as I remember it.

2. We were seated! Unlike years ago when we were very often squashed together. If one person started jumping up and down we all had to!

My thanks to the band for an excellent evening, to RobH for organising the event and my admiration must go to the Gent who had travelled all the way from Scotland and who had to travel all the way back to be able to get to work the following morning. Thats dedication for you!

Good. They both seemed nice (I was talking to one of them in the interval) and I'm glad my intuition was wrong.

Noel, I thought suggesting "Help!" could be better than "Joy" was risking it! A possible explanation is that I've heard Joy a 1,000 times (no bad thing), whilst Help only gets a hearing live (although an instrumental version exists on a limited edition CD, and live versions have appeared on the internet). So at concerts, I always yearn for it more!

On the subject of Set Lists!

At Farncombe we had Frozen Rivers before Help and we ended with Joy after Starflight.

At Beckenham Sailing Ship  was also cut.

Were there any more changes Pete said all shows would be different, Farncombe had a name that song intros competiyion (no prizes) which was not repeated at Beckenham.

Also did anybody make more than two gigs on this tour?
