I agree wholeheartedly. Gina wasn't the only favourite of mine that was chopped down.
But, to get back on topic, I like the new sound. Is it not possible for someone to take a good quality tape recorder to a gig to do a live recording? May possibly be prohibitively expensive, but worth considering otherwise.

Back to the topic? I have seen posts leave the topic on the original post! Going back to the topic is revolutionary! We cannot do that! I need a cup of tea now!!

Hi Guys
I appear to have created a monster. Some song titles I sent to John were
Like the Power of a tractor Silly Billy Goat One bobble hat for you one wooly jumper for me Who's gonna love you when your covered in cow poo
I think some of yours are far better. JR & Pete take note. I thought the PA at Farncombe was too small for the band. The acoustic guitar was completely lost. Not a great sounding venue. And I believe the folk direction for ATF is regressive not as some have said moving on. John joined a rock band. He wasn't involved with Signs Of Change. I think they should stick to what they do best and that is rocking out. If I want to wave a hanky about I'd join some morris dancers. Or be a Wursals fan. Oo ah oo ah oo ah A (to the BV's in Laser Love) Morris dancing in the shadows. It's only my opinion. It counts for nothing. It is great to see Pete and Johns personalities shining though this tour. Keep taking the viagra. Bang! Bang! Love ya all Rob Russell (Matt Rocks like his uncle)

So Mike it was you who blocked my view. They don't call you Short Change for nothing. Oh, they don't call you Short Change at at all......OK.
Thought of another I sent JR
Frozen Cow Pats Curry me home Bright Tights Ditch Boys I don't understand your direction
John bought a hand made mandolino and spent a tidy sum on a Left handed Acoustic so I guess he'd better play them. I hold a folk duo called Show Of Hands directly responsible for heavily influencing ATF. May the Lord forgive them. Personally I can't bring myself to play their vidoes any more. Although John lent it to me. Even my DVD player refuses to play it. Could it be a lucky escape. Would Bang! Bang! become cider swilling, finger in the ear, wooly jumpered, olde yarn telling yoakels. Hmm...I don't think so. oo ah a

Led Zeppelin used to do some folky songs in their set Stairway to heaven
And they've just reformed.....is this a sign Is it that we are all getting old and slippers and pipes and rocking chairs are now far more appealing than being crammed into a sweaty venue that stinks of beer and pogoing to a deafening ATF and singing at the top of our voices the backing vocals.
I remember the satin trouser Pete wore. The Blue Bass, My superman outfit John wore. The hats that Ivor wore. The gear the fans wore. The orange laser Love single. The phone calls to Capital hit line. Supporting ATF at the marque club. And the leopard skin design box jacket last seen on Matts back. Are we going lose this heritage to floppy hats and wooly jumpers, fingers in the ear. Afternoon tea with ATF. Polite and gentile, or a continuing power house of a band with something to say and volume control to make us listen. Long live ATF. Got all passionate again then. Sorry
