Suggested set (2008 spring tour): -

1st half: Rich Boys; Short Change; I Don't Understand Your Love; Forged From Faith; Wildflower; Wild West Show; Why Can't We Be Friends?

2nd half: 1980F leading into; 1984F; Dancing in the Shadows; Don't Say Goodbye (with Rob Halligan); Stand By Me (with Rob Halligan - either version, don't fall out about it!); Hallelujah (YOUR version); Signs of Change; Can You Face It?; Your Love is Alive; Suspended Animation; Timestar; Check It Out

Encore: Listen To Me; Cariba (only joking - the punters will want Joy);

Supporting Act: ELO (Val Halen if you can't get ELO)

Er, that's it (and that's my evening nearly gone).

In the above set-list I missed out 'Little Sun, Little Rain', didn't I? Please squeeze that in, too.

A good set list, but how could you miss out Der Kommissar? A medley of their US hit!

If we start picking the set lists, we will want to pick the bands clothes next! Nearly shortened that line but wouldn't dream of that!!

Sounds like longer sets required.

I am sure that there will always be favourite songs missing from any set that is played, and we would all like to see the band on stage for longer.

However when I was at Coventry I think the band spent about 1 1/2 hours on stage, I do not think that is a bad amount of time, and the set lists are probably about as long as they were 25 years ago. ATF must have in excess of six hours worth of their own material to choose from.

What is evident now is that what is played is not just all that has been rehearsed which is why the set is able to be swapped about.

Additionally as seen in the request spot although not everything is getting played a lot of the material has not been forgotten ( Pete was able to play without difficulty the first few bars of Litte Rain Little Sun at Coventry)

I would certainly love to hear more of the material from AT2F performed live.......all good, original ATF stuff, and every song should start with one of John's enthusiastic YEAHs!!!!

PS Folks - my suggested set list was half in jest! All I was doing was identifying what hadn't been played, and what a good set-list it might have made in its own right. The band knows best!

I'm sure I influenced that "half in jest" set list, lufcman. I was sitting near you - I was the person who shouted for Short Change.
