I wish people wouldn't spoil the surprise as I have received my copies of the Cd's BUT my wife has confiscated them and is saving them for my birthday in late March! Not only have I had to wait twenty odd years for the best news I have had for a long time, but I am now being made to wait to hear the music that my record player has worn away with use! Am I in suspended animation?

as you can now get a number 1 hit with sales of 3 cd's do we know
if the new cd set got anywhere in the charts? and also how are they
made up these days, are there still chart shops or am i showing my age

There are indeed still chart shops - bit outdated innit? - and they include HMV, but not Virgin, so I'm told. Sales from websites is a different thing altogether - not sure how or even if they can be registered anywhere. We need to get plugging our CDs to our mates and then get them all to buy from HMV in the same week, as the sales figures are recalculated week on week...
