Now mentioning support acts...
Some were quite good, even if they did get booed off stage! Anyone remember 'Afraid of Mice' who were victims of such ignominy? I didn't think they were that bad, and I've got the album to prove it! Can't remember offhand which gig it was, though.
Were there any other support acts that stood out for anyone out there?

It was a Rainbow gig - they didnt stand a chance, just wrong matching.  Found out who did it and he said "seemed like a good idea at the time".

Have recently found some good new support acts though.

Good day to youse all

Posted this some time ago when we was an email list before these new fangled board things, but as for support acts, I saw ATF at Borehamwood Town Hall where they where supported by Canis Major.  I have searched H & L subsequently for a copy of their album that they were flogging at the gig and that I didn't buy at the time. (Much to my regret.) All I can recall was that the (female) vocalist had long blond hair that had been treated with the waffle iron, the 80's equivalent of the 'Hair Straightener' that my daughter now uses with monotonous regularity.

I did enquire if anyone had a copy that they would be willing to let me have a copy of for a suitable donation to wherever, but no more was heard, Shame really, but there you go.....
