Just to give the definitive answer!

High Tide Saturday 6th August 2005
14:12 depth 4.64m - possibly over the Strood from 13:30 to 14:45

High Tide Sunday 6th August 2005
02:33 depth 4.53m - possibly over the Strood from 02:00 to 03:00
14:41 depth 4.60m - possibly over the Strood from 14:00 to 15:15

If the wind is strong and from the North the tide arrives earier and is deeper.

Thanks Banksy.......my next request is in case I decide to come by public transport.......is there a bus - what time is it from Colchester (?) and back? Do you know what time you're scheduled to appear and then finish yet?

Buses leave Colchester North Station (NOT Colchester Town
Station) every half hour from 0805 - either Number 67 or 67A,
arriving on west Mersea 50 (five zero) minutes later.
Last bus off the island is 2254 arriving at the station at 2316.
