Brill is one word i could use
How about superb and outstanding...!
My toe was tapping but i had an "inner pogo going on"
Definitely to old to boogie - well in the manner i used to at the Limit Club in Sheffield and St Johns at York and The Rainbow Theatre (x2)

Yes I was there, I made a rough count of about 100 people on the grass.

There was one guy standing in the bushes. Didn't see anyone up the trees, though.

Yes, I was that guy standing in the bushes!!
Reason was I have arthritic knees and can't sit for long so I had to lean on a tree to keep me upright (and no, I hadn't been drinking)
One hundred and one..

And I was relying on you to do the running in the band vs crew 5-a-side at GB...

Yes, Sunday's gig was great, the sound was "true" and none of the latest band members needs to fear "dancing/performing in the shadow" of former band members,(beloved though they still are!!) I couldn't stop myself from "jiggling" at the back and various ATF tracks have been constantly going round my brain ever since. The bandstand-Sunday-afternoon-park scenario seemed a bit bizarre, but it somehow added to the great sense of fun. The Bonoesque rock-star stance through the bay-window of the front room was very authentic!! The musical "mistakes" almost seemed like deliberate jokes in the relaxed atmosphere and the band members I could see seemed to be just enjoying themselves as much as us!! The band members were so friendly to chat to and thanks to them all for signing my old, but loved, ATF T-shirt! It was good to meet and chat to other ATF-music lovers as well. Four of us travelled down from Wymondham in Norfolk, after church, where I've easily been able to sell ten of the One Rule (Trade Justice) CDs, mainly to people who remembered the band with enthusiasm!! So, as Suffolk has already been mentioned before in this forum as having a good ATF fan-base, I'll settle for a gig on the border!! See you on the island on Sat!
