My brother in law never used to pay much attention to ATF. That is, until one day he happened to hear Stuck In Paris and he said "that sounds just like the Kaiser Chiefs!" And then he heard another track, Sometimes, and he said "that does too!" And he heard a couple of others, including Rich Boys I think, and, well...you get the idea.
Anyway, it struck me that, what with the Kaiser Chiefs' second album being imminent, now would be the perfect time to start playing ATF's most Kaisery tracks around KC fans - you never know where it may lead! Don't tell 'em it's ATf, just slip a disc you've burned (dare I say that? I'll get my coat, er, ATF fleece...) or your pre-programmed MP3 player on and let 'em put two and two together.
And might I suggest something like the following track listing?
ATF'S KAISER MIX!
1. Can You Face It?
2. Who's Gonna Love You?
3. Rich Boys
4. Stuck In Paris
5. Check It Out
6. Sometimes
7. Sailing Ship
8. It's High Fashion
9. Why Can't We Be Friends?
10. Nobody Else But You
11. I Don't Understand Your Love
12. Helpless
13. Bright Lights (this is the bit where one of the band says "I didn't realise we'd done a song called Bright Lights..." )
14. Joy
Oh, and if your mates are really dense, for starters you might want to stick "Everyday I Love You Less And Less" and "Ruby" on straight afterwards...
Bedtime.
