I have just heard larry died yesterday. After a long illness he has gone to another land to be with his God.

Larry Norman is one of the reasons I got into Christian music and will remember him for Greenbelt and other concerts around the country. We have lost a friend.

Sad news indeed,

Why should the devil have all the good music

Very sad to here about Larry Norman. He was unique, the father of Christian rock. An excellent songwriter, musician, and performer. I too will always remember his appearances at Greenbelt.

A couple of years ago, at Spring Harvest - Skegness, I was walking past where they were selling CD's and DVD's. They had a large screen showing a recent Larry Norman Concert which I stopped to watch for a while. Larry was obviously quite frail, not at all like the Larry many of us grew up listerning to, but the songs still seemed to be full of life. As I stood there I noticed another gent watching the performance - he was crying! Thats how much Larry Norman meant to so many people.

So many great songs, I'd never be able to list them in order of  merit. Last Tuesday's Rimmerama podcast is certainly worth listening to, as Mike did the whole programme as a tribute to Larry and then continued to feature him on his Wed and Thurs programmes........ he has such good musical taste (well, in this instance!! Oh, and for ATF, of course!!)

Blow in my ear????!!!! BEHAVE and RESPECT!!!

Just 'cos Larry didn't like it?

It was a fun pointless little ditty and it was very good at what it was.
