A few people have asked about this song as i've been playing it on the tour. Here's a video from an acoustic show recorded in October this year in Tamworth.

The song is about the last time I saw my dad in July 2001. It was good, we talked about a lot of stuff, sorted things out that had been hanging around for years. As we talked he told me he'd known Roger Daltrey and even played in a band with him when he was a kid. I never knew if it was true or not but it's a cool mystery

Thanks Rob, good song. Might it get on a future record?
Following the associated links I found "You" (the song that is) ...which explained where I'd heard it before (same venue, earlier gig).  I haven't found that on a CD yet either - could be a good one next time on the showing so far!

I'm in the studio in January - new album should be out in March with lots of gigs planned. Roger Daltrey and You will be there :)
